Namek is the founder of Silicon Badia, Accelerator's new early stage investment platform that combines global venture investing and acceleration. Part of the Badia Impact Fund's management team, Namek also leads the Badia Outreach Fund, which invests selectively in early-stage U.S. based startups, and the Badia Launchpad program, an accelerator program for MENA startups in the US. Namek was formerly a founding Principal at a U.S. macro opportunistic fund based in NYC, focusing on early stage investments in the software, digital media, mobile and internet space and also worked at Deutsche Bank AG and UBS AG. He graduated PhiBetaKappa with honors and distinction from Carnegie Mellon University in the US.
